What a great long weekend. It is so fun to spend time with family!!

Shaydon's well check went GREAT... he loves to get the bouncy ball at the end!!!

He has had one dental cleaning!

Fighting more with him to eat, maybe he is just not as hungry? Will take sweets anytime.

He takes a nap on preschool days (Mon. Wed.) and has quite time/nap on other days (Tues. Thur.)

He loves preschool and is excited every morning when Kelli picks him up. He says " I am so excited for school today, give me kiss bye" He talks frequently about the other kids in his class. I pick them up and they get a piece of gum or sucker every time.

Knows he need to wear his seat belt when in the car or the policeman will get him. Thanks to mom getting pulled over.

He loves his little brother. Calls him dude, pumpkin, little bro. and skelitor.

He is potty trained both day & night. he wears big boy underwear.... I can't believe i said that!! WOOT.

4 months

Slater is already 4 months i can't believe it, okay he is really 5 months old, but we never got his 4 months well check.

He is still just nursing about 5 X day

He takes 3 naps a day

Holds his head up and loves to play in the exersauser (sp)and watch the fire place

He loves his Binky too much. I am finding I am getting up several times a night to put it in!!! ugh..

Loves to watch his big brother & smiles every time when he talks to him

He growls when he talks, LOL and smiles when you talk to him

Picks things up and explores them

He skipped over the 3-6 month clothes from Shaydon. Big growing spurt.

Has his dad's personality very layed back & observant

Well it was the 1st snow of the season today & Shaydon wanted to play in it. Realizing that we haven't gotten the winter clothes out yet, we will see what fits & what doesn't. After Shaydon had been out there for only 10 minutes I see Scott getting all of his stuff on and he says we are going to make a snowman. They had lots of fun and used up all the snow. Good thing they went out there when they did because the snow didn't last long. Scott loves to admire his work. He kept looking out the window and saying "that is the BEST snowman ever" "it's so symmetrical"!!!

So we stoped at the visitor center and had lunch and took a break we stayed for almost 1.5 hours. It was perfect. To be honest it wasn't' as cool and I thought it was going to be. High expectation i guess. I thought it would be longer and pretty short bridge. Shaydon just kept asking if we brought his swimsuit for the beach!!!

Home Bound

After a fun week in the sun!!!!

Last time on the BEACH...and touching the water, soon after we saw a sign that said Danger!!! Don't touch the water bacteria! Great!!!

For the past 3 days we have woken up to the words "are we going to the beach today?" I finally got to say YES!!! We frequent Zummie's alot this week. We got quite a collection of sand dollars, shells, seaweed and sea glass. (one for each member of his preschool class) Not to mention we saw dolphins, surfers, sand crabs and sand tractors that were john deer. Thanks to the corner bakery for our box lunch that was delicious. Got to meet the people that mom works with at corner bakery. Pretty neat place.

Thanks to Connie & Michael (happy birthday) for letting us stay with them. We tried to keep our area as clean as we could. I mean we were on vacation. :) We had delicious food, cheap mani and Pedi's with my mom, ($9.99 for both) fun shopping for our family Christmas card clothes at my favorite store H&M Clothing (they had kids now) that could be dangerous good thing we don't have one close to us, stoping at Trader Joe's or chap stick, more lunch at the Corner Bakery, went thrift store shopping in Ventura, had GREAT Thai food, picking lemons and limes off Connie's tree's, Meeting the neighbors, putting Greg on the spot, lots of visiting and chatting it up. How fun to be able to spend a week with Nana thanks for taking the time off we had such a GREAT time.
