Conference Weekend

Friday

We had such a fun weekend with Larry & Barbara, Eric & Yvonne+3 and Scott & I+1. We started off by have dinner on Friday night at Red Robin in Meridian. Lily was counting the number of times the workers were singing the "happy birthday" song; I think the total was 6 while we were there. Once we made it back to Eric's the kids just played until bed time and we just relaxed on the couch while visiting and catching up on the current events, housing market, economy, politics, finances, working out etc... Had ice cream Sundays!! We left at 1:15am and Scott said before we left that we should drive careful because all the drunks would be coming home from the bars and the roads were wet from it raining all day. Well to make a long story short if we would of left a second sooner we would of got it by CRAZY driver. I called 911 for the 1st time as the driver did a 180 and took out 7 panels of chain link fence. Heavenly Father was looking out for us.

Saturday

I had to work in the morning so we didn't get over to Eric & Yvonne's until 12:00 noon. Which we almost got Hit again!! I don't know how the jeep didn't clip our back end as we were stoped at a red light merging on to Eagle road. We were spared again! How many chances are we going to get? The kid just played all day long together, they are good with each other. Zack just loves Shaydon and is so good to him. Making sure he has toys to play with and showing him how to play with them. Watched conference as best as we could with the kids. The girls went to Target. Barbara enjoyed girls night at Desert Book during priesthood session. The guys went to Priesthood session. Enjoyed Taco Soup for dinner courtesy of Yvonne. The Halloween dress up with gifts from Gpa & Gma Gerratt. Ice cream Sunday's and went home about 11:00pm

Sunday

Made it Eric's just in time for the morning session. Thanks for the new toys!! Shaydon loves the door, in and out, in and out over and over again. He loves it!! We grazed all day on left overs and ice cream. It was Scott's 1st Sunday away from his NFL Sunday ticket, but we were home by 6:00pm to watch some of the games.
