Thursday's are usually library/story time at 10:30am, but there was a consignment sale called moppet togs that started on Thursday morning at 10:00am that I wanted to go to. I knew we wouldn't be done in time. Shaydon did really well with all the people and stayed right next to me. Shaydon really likes to go to story time and is sad when we just droped off the books and couldn't stay so I decided we didn't really have anything going on so we stoped and I let him play on the toys at McDonald's. I think it made up for story time.

She weighed 8 lbs 1 oz and was 19 inches long

We are very excited for Hinkley to be here

only 5 weeks left

a big shocker is that their is only 35 more days i can't believe it in ways it has gone by so fast, but in other ways i thought it would never come. I can't believe I am going to be a mother of two precious boys!! Going to the Dr. every 2 weeks. Still sleeping good and enjoying my water aerobics class, the baby turned and is now head down and gets the hick-ups a lot. Loving sweets right now. Can't wait for my girls night and mani/pedi appointment. Loves & looks forward to my massages. Still nervous for the delivery, but excited for my mom to come to town & only two more weeks left of work.

still working on:

the nursery, need to pack my and the babies bags, pick up car seat attachment for stroller, purchase gift for shaydon from the baby & and baby book (any good suggestions?), brag book for the new baby started, cleaning the base boards and lights.

done:

house stocked with food and supplies, arrangements made for shaydon, dental appointments made, maternity pix taken (thanks rebecca) & vehicles cleaned.

Boise Greenbelt

We went for a walk down at the greenbelt this evening!

The weather was beautiful and Shaydon loved seeing the "wriver"

and Roxy loved to just get out of the house

We took Chris with us and gave him some of the cookies we made on Saturday

Then we dropped some more cookies off to Jamie and Bo on the way home

What a nice Sunday activity

Boise Zoo

Once Eric and Yvonne droped off the kids we asked them what they would like to do today. We gave them the choice of the Zoo or the Birds of Prey. They chose the Zoo. So after playing outside for an hour or so we got everyone together and headed out to the zoo.

They had lots of fun.

On the way home we stoped and got pizza for lunch and then played outside for the rest of the afternoon. It was such beautiful weather. We even got the jump house out okay Scott did. I made cookies for a snack and before we knew it Yvonne and Eric were back to pick up the kids. Yvonne did GREAT in her race. 2hr 13 minutes. WOW. I bet she is going to need a massage later. Thanks for watching Shaydon and giving us a date night and sleeping in and letting us play with your kids all afternoon. Shaydon was so tired he could hardly keep his eyes open and took a nap at 4:30pm.

sleepover

Tonight was Shaydon's 1st sleepover with his cousins Zack, Lily and Nic.

He was so excited!!

As we were packing his bags I told him he could bring his wallet withe some money cause they were going to eat out for lunch. The next thing I know he is loading up his wallet with every ounce of money he owns. Mostly change. He ended up having a breakdown cause he could not bring ALL of his money, he was afraid he wasn't going to have enough. He said will aunt Ybonne let me have, chicken nuggets, french fries and chocolate milk? I said yes she will. He had the biggest grin on his face all morning. 1:00pm couldn't come fast enough.


I wanted to call and check on him, but Scott said NO we aren't going to be those parent who call 10 times. We we ended up only calling before bed time. They were eating Olive Garden take out and watching Shrek the movie. We said good night and he was having a blast!!


Aunt Ybonne (as Shaydon says) said he slept perfectly in the pack and play in Lily's room and got up at 6:00am and then went back to bed until 7:00am when everyone else got up. They headed to our house to drop off all the kids while Eric and Yvonne went to Run Robie.

Landon,

We just wanted you to know how much we love you!!! We fell in love with you the moment you entered this world. We have been so lucky to see you as much as we have in the last 2 years. Your grandma and grandpa Hunt & great grandma Hunt love you and care for you so much too. Everyone in the family is always asking us how you are doing and we love to be the ones to keep them in touch. They are always sending you things in the mail, coming to see you, calling you and checking in especially on Wednesdays. Holidays, special events, birthday's, Roaring Springs, Monkey Business and of course Wednesday's are special times we have gotten to share with you. Or should I say mac & cheese Wednesday's. I think that is your favorite food right now. Shaydon and you have a love hate relationship. One second you are sharing and getting along fine and the next you are fighting as cousins do or any typical 2 year olds. Most of the time you are GREAT though. Such a good napper. Today has been one month since we have gotten to see you and we miss you terribly. It's very hard to explain to Shaydon that we don't know when the next time we will get to see you again will be, but we all hope that day will come soon. We just wanted you to know that we have always wanted to be a part of your life and have done everything we feel we could. We just wanted you to be able to look back on this and know that we love you very much. You & Shaydon have had lots of memories together thus far in your lives and I hope you don't forget that we are the other side of your family. I know we won't forget who you are. Until we see you again.

Papa

We decided to surprise papa for his special day and head to Burley for the weekend & also help with a big auction he had (the Burley community sale). We went down on Friday night and got into Burley about 9:30pm. We had pizza for dinner and tried to wake papa up, but he must of been so tired. Shaydon couldn't get him off the couch. Shaydon was up early with papa at 7:30AM. We worked the auction all day and then went to dinner at a Chinese restaurant and then had dessert at Mimi's. We bought a chocolate cream pie which is his favorite. Thanks to Barbara and Larry for watching Shaydon in the afternoon and getting him to take a nap. Also to Mimi for her hard work and patience. It sure was good to see and visit with everyone.

I didn't take out my camera once the whole trip so here is one from Christmas.

p.s. we lost Shaydon at the auction for about 30 seconds and I was freaking out. I didn't know I could yell that loud. Those poor customers who were at the window saw it all unfold.

Activies

Eric and Yvonne came over with the kids and we ate, (ham, green beans, corn, rolls, green salad, strawberries & pineapple, garlic potatoes, veggie tray) played in the toy room, colored eggs, had an Easter egg hunt (thanks to Scott for hiding all the eggs in the COLD weather), delicious dessert by Yvonne brownies & ice cream & toppings. Then just sat around and visited (the best part) good company.
Thanks to everyone for coming over and spending the day with us at our home.

Grandma & Grandpa Gerratt were here to share in all the Easter festivities on Sunday. After all the excitement of the Easter bunny we had breakfast and then watched conference. Shaydon did pretty good while we watched by playing, coloring and drawing.

We had dinner planned for around 1:00pm.

We ordered a mattress for Shaydon's bed about a month ago. It's a weird size because it is my bed from when I was little. 3/4 size. It finally came in, but not with out some hick ups. So tonight we took the crib down and put up the BBB. Shaydon helped take down and set up.

We thought it would be good to help with the transition.

It did.

I would say it's a success!
