Afghanistan

Our 1st stop was Burley on Thursday night. We stayed at my parents house. Burley is such a GREAT half way point. I had a dentist appointment at 8:00am. Scott took Shaydon over to see his parents and have breakfast in the morning. I was done by 9:00 and we were on the road by 10:00am. Thanks everyone for helping us get out of town.

Our 2ed stop on our trip to Utah was Maddox Diner in Brigham City. We've never ate there, but the Gerratt's love it. So we invited Alisa & Bailey to come and eat with us!! Shaydon and Bailey are only 4 months apart, but we haven't gotten to see her since Thanksgiving.

Final top Sandy, Utah!!! 6 hours later... We made it. We haven't been to Utah for a long time. We couldn't think of the last time?! How sad. We love to be at the Harding's they make us feel like were at home. She always make something wonderful to eat. Scott said get the recipe from her. Also Dave is leaving for Afghanistan on Monday morning for 12o day's. We didn't want to disrupt their last weekend with them, but they insisted we still come. Oh, the fun we had:

  • Watched Madagascar 2
  • Relaxed & Visited with everyone
  • Watched Dave repair, paint the walls, doing his last "Honey Do's"
  • Scott went Snowboarding at Brighten
  • I went Shopping at IKEA
  • Dinner on Valentines at Club Med it was a Mediterranean Restaurant that was GREAT!!! (too bad I was sick, Thanks Lex and Log for watching Shaydon)
  • Went to Sacrament with the family
  • Played Rock Band
  • Took lots of Naps

Thanks for letting us be a part of a special weekend with you guys.

We love you so much!! Until next time

turkey weekend in burley

Technically it is Scott's Thanksgiving, but since they decided to have it in Burley we get to eat with my family too. 2 dinners= lots of good food. Barbara always does her dinner on Friday afternoon so all the in-laws can eat on Thanksgiving with their family's. How nice. I have the best Mother-in-law ever...

we started off the weekend by getting up early for the mini-cassia turkey trot!!!
i was so tired and not feeling the best, but it was my 1st race outside of HS track.
thanks to Yvonne who found it & got us all excited & talked into running it.
it was only a 5K & 25 degrees with the wind!! Sorry Dave I didn't get a pix of you.
i think we should make it a tradition!!

Dinner was at Mimi's house with Us, Korbi & her family, Dawn & Bruse Family, Al & Debbie Family, Tyson, Kalen and MIMI!! Britni & her family joined for dessert. Most of the time was asking everyone how life has been and catching up. Reading the Ad's for Black Friday and keeping the kids under control with the cousins. Shaydon and Beck played pretty good together. Thanks MIMI for a wonderful dinner. See you in Boise for Christmas!!!
($79.00)
I didn't get up early for the 1st time since I started going shopping on Black Friday!! There wasn't much I wanted in the ad's so I just decided to say home. I went to Wal-mart at 9:00 and they had one of the two things I wanted. A FLIP video. The next stop was A child's world (A child's boutique). Everything was 25% and I got a pair of new shoes for Shaydon. Blue camo... Soo cute!

They boys have on their new beanies from Uncle Todd. They say Ida-Gold Farms

Bubble Gum Ice Cream
Lily wasn't feeling good. Nic enjoying his ice cream and Zack helping clean up

It wouldn't be a weekend with out going to Al's for dinner. We went on Saturday night and had pizza, salad, soda & ice cream!!
Thanks mom and dad for always being so accommodating.
WE love you!!

This is Alisa's Bailey she is on Brenda's lap and such a cutie!! She is wearing some bows that Aunt Wendy got for her at our local HS craft show that was this weekend.

We sure had lots of fun. Thanks to everyone for coming and having such a GREAT time. I love it when family gets together.

Cassia County Fair

What a weekend!!

It started out on Thursday afternoon as Shaydon and I caught a ride to Burley with Yvonne and the kids. We left the men to come after work on Friday together. The whole Gerratt family minus Brandon and all the dogs minus Jack were there, it was a packed house. Alisa & Ben even stayed at Todd and Brenda's and Dave & Wendy brought up there camp trailer because the family is getting bigger. Scott and I stayed in Scott's old room we haven't stayed there for a really long time. We love it!!! We love to get together with everyone to visit/talk until weee hours in the morning, eat food, sleep, read magazines, go the the fair, eat fair food and repeat! If we want to see my family we have to go to the fair. I worked lunch at the fair on Friday and Saturday. I love the maple bars, corn on the cob and the funnel cakes. Also, my mom's sister Connie and her husband Michael came down from LA to help work the Al's booth. They will need a vacation from there vacation to recover from a week of HARD work. Thanks to everyone for taking time to come to Burley for the fair it's become an yearly event that we look forward to. Thanks for all the help with Shaydon too. I just remember last year all to well being pregnant and all. It was nice to enjoy the weather instead of being so HOT!

Jason & Leslie Harding

Congratulations

Married in the SLC Temple

Luncheon at the Boulevard

Reception at the Woods

Honeymoon in Mexico

We drove down to SLC on Monday night and stayed in the Kimble. We stopped in Burley to drop off Roxy with my parents and picked up Larry. Went to the sealing on Tuesday morning (only our 3 one), the luncheon next and then to Wendy's to hangout until the reception at 6:30pm. The food was delicious (fresh fruit, croissant sandwiches, salad and fresh raspberry cake). Wednesday we slept in and left for Burley by 1:00pm. Had Subway in the car with a Dr. Pepper (didn't have one for 2 weeks Europe only has Coke & Sprite). Arrived in Burley long enough to said hello and good-bye in 1 hour and headed back to Boise.

We are excited to have Leslie apart of the family. We love you!!
