Scott went to work as usual. I got my hair cut and so did Shaydon, had lunch with Yvonne and the kids at Burger King, left Shaydon with Yvonne so I could go to work for an hour. Scott got off early so we went together to pick up Shaydon. We were planning on coming back to our house and passing out candy, but we ended up staying and going Tick-or-Treating with them instead. It was such a BEAUTIFUL night!! SOOO WARM! We had pizza for dinner and then we were off knocking door to door! We made it home by 8:30 and got only 4 trick-or-treaters. Shaydon was exhausted and fell asleep by 7:30 in the stroller. Since I didn't bring our stuff we borrowed Zack's 1st Halloween costume and Shaydon was a lion!! Thanks for letting us Crash your Halloween Night!! Love you guys!

BOO @ the ZOO

This was our first time to the Zoo since since 4th grade. We didn't know our way around very well but we managed. It's quite a show they put on for all the kids costume contest, candy, games, food, pictures, plus the zoo it's self. They expected 13,000 people to show up. It was a little too busy for us. Maybe when Shaydon is 3 we will go back. Just not worth fighting the crowds even though we didn't have to wait in line for our tickets because Tyson bought ours and we just meet them at the gate. Thanks Tyson & Landon that saved sooo much time!!! I can't believe that I didn't get a pix of the two together. I guess it was because by the time we got to the costume contest it was our turn to get in line (the 1 & 2 yr. old's) and Landon had just finished and fallen asleep and Shaydon fell asleep shortly after we went on stage. Love those morning naps. Landon was a CUTE monkey though. Brooke is bringing his costume on Wednesday so I can get pix of the two together. We saw lots of friends while we were there!!!

Apples... Apples... Apples...

Remember all those apples we pick, well now it was time to can them!!! APPLESAUCE. I headed over to Cara's at 12:00 noon and we got started. We finished in 5 hours, but still had lots of apples left. Thanks Cara for learning the art of canning with me and letting us dirty you house, next time we will dirty mine. Shaydon & Milo had fun too. Kyle's mom came over to help and ended up helping entertain the kids so we could stay focused and can away!!!

Jessica's Talent

We went to Hyde Park for our little family photo shoot it was a lot of fun; camels back park, walking the allies and being with friends!! Shaydon had his 1st sucker. After about 200 pix we called it quits. After looking through them there were only about 15 that were worth anything. Either Scott had his eyes closed or Shaydon did. Crazy Boys. I guess we will have to go out agin.

Thanks Jess what would we do with out you?!!! We love you!!!

We had such an eventful time:

Dinner at the Fire house restaurant with dessert.. The BEST cookie Poozookie ever!!

It started off at 8:30am in front of JJ Coles, we were 37th in line of about 150 people we started to beat people off with sticks for crowding. 9:00am straight up we made a dash. We had all ready talked about what and how many we wanted of each thing and to just grab stuff and we would put back later!! But 5 bundle me, 2 swaddle blankets with burp cloths, 2 sling diaper bags, 1 caddy, 1 diapers and wipes & pod, 1 bundle me hat later. We all most got everything we wanted. Just short a travel system diaper bag.

Grosners Cheese factory for some squeaky cheese for Scott, I don't know how he eats it. They are always talking about it, but it's not much to talk about. Can you say pencil eraser. We got some ice cream for the ride home and flavored milk for Scott's lunches. Root bear, banana, orange cream, mango, vanilla, chocolate and regular 2 percent.

Gass up the car and headed back to Burley for the weekend.

Car Wash

Shaydon has been going to the car wash since he was in utero!!! He must be use to it because he loves it... He just gets so excited. Yelling and pointing to the brushes the water and soap. I like taking him to the car wash and having a clean car.

I love to watch Landon one day a week. They kids have sooo much fun together!! I am glad they are so close in age and live in the same town. They are going to grow up to be such good friends.

apples... apples..... apples

Cara and I went to the Church apple orchard this morning to pick apples for canning apple sauce, apple pie filling, eating fresh apple pie, apple cobbler, red hot apples (I am sure there are many other thing to do with apples) and of course the bishop store house. We volunteered our time for 2 hours and then pick us about 10 bushels of Gala apples. I really don't know how big a bushel is but we picked a lot. I think we will be "appled out" before long.

It was a lot of fun and even Shaydon and Milo enjoyed each other. Shaydon took a bite of his first apple. Thanks Cara for leading the way we will be experts by next year. See you next week when we can all these apples.

JJ Coles

My Bundle Me from J.J. Coles (thanks to my sister-in-law) was my favorite thing for Shaydon during the winter. It kept my newborn so warm.

J.J. Coles has a wear house in Logan that she bought it at.

So we are going there on Friday to visit and go shopping. I am taking orders, did I mention that it's all on SALE!!!

We are starting a new tradition of doing something once a month together. It's going to be nice to get together and catch up on what ever we want!! Tonight's events were held at Rebecca's house from 6:30pm until 11:30pm. I worked on some BragZ RagS and organizing Shaydon's photos. Rebecca work on some Brag books for grandparents and sewing her onesie together. We enjoyed good company, Dr. Pepper, chips and candy. Trey even came to check in on us to make sure there was nothing we needed or maybe it was to steal some chips either way it was a fun night. It wouldn't be a night with out some blogging secrets hence the computer in the back ground.
