Shaydon remembers part of the stories and re tells them. especially the one about the "harry toe" and "gotcha where i want you now i am going to eat you"

it was such a fun weekend i wish i could of participated more. I got sick and just slept most of the days away. so sorry girls thanks for helping/entertain with the boys!! Thanks to my brother juston for letting us use the cabin. It was perfect and so much room. Your the best! We watched conference and used some packets to help keep the boys interested, ate, learned about curling, watched movies and football, sat in the hot tub, crafted, played on the computer, napped, went exploring and did a scavenger hunt, sat in the hot tub, played hid and seek, relaxed, snacked, watched conference, blew out the sprinklers, cleaned and drove home with a Dr. Pepper in hand! Thanks scott and all the family's for such a fun weekend!! It was perfect - the flu!

This is one of those days i can't wait till its over. I had to go to the dentist for crown lengthening. Didn't really know what it entailed, but my friend Rebecca had to go to the dentist too. So we coordinated out appointments and watched each others kids. Well at least that is how it was suppose to go. My apt was 1st so i dropped off the kids at settlers park with the stroller only to meet them back there i an hour to switch so Rebecca could go to her apt. and then lunch after for my birthday. One of our traditions. Well my apt. we longer and hour longer. Who knew it was basically oral surgery and i have 4 stitches, a dead mouth and 4 advil later. I could hardly talk. Plus my phone died!! So she took 4 boys to her apt. I didn't know where her apt was and couldn't call her. I had an idea where it was, but still couldn't find her to help relieve her with the 4 boys. Finally i found a random guy at an office building walking to his car and asked him to use his phone to try and call, but she didn't answer my call (tried 3 times) and i left a message to meet here at the local library that was close. So i waited and waited and finally we meet. I was in tears my mouth hurting and feeling so guilty that she ended up taking all 4 with her!! So the pix of the boys with suckers are how she bribed them to be so good at her dental apt and Tian got to ride in my "monster" truck and we headed off to Carls Jr. to eat. i had a milk shake!! Sorry to the Bledsoes for my dang DENTAL apt. I do hate the dentist if you didn't know. I should of just married one for the amount of work that i have had done or maybe i should just find one to trade with although that would take me till i am dead to repay them or maybe i should just be grateful i have dental ins and max it out year after year!! Anyway I am soo grateful for Rebecca and being such a good friend and being so understanding!! That is why she is my BESTIE!!!

ps my new idea is that offices should have a daycare at offices so you don't have to find a babysitter to watch your kids!! Fred Meyer has one for heaven sakes.

Rebecca has a client who volunteers out at the birds of prey and she meet us for a personal tour!! how lucky r we!! I learned so much and the kids did too! It was going to be our girls night at RS, but they ended up kicking us out for the H2O Overload and we couldn't be in there. So much for riding the rides. It was a big night of Famous people though? Do you know who that is? We met him and got out photo with him. We fit right in the the teeny boppers!! I mean we are young at heart!!

CHECK: the boise twilight criterium is something we have always wanted to go and do,but just never have. Well this year we were lucky enough to know someone who was racing! Our very own Justin Bledsoe!! It made it very exciting and fun! Dinner at the Brick Oven Bistro and dessert at Ben and Jerry's!! Thanks for saving seats Rebecca and what a STUD rider you have!! Congrats Justin!!!

we headed over to wilson lake in nampa late because i worked in the am for treys camping party. rebecca put a lot of time into the planing part and it turned out GREAT! they started with a name tag on a piece of wood as a necklace, decorated binoculars to look for birds on the hike into their camp spot, fished, opened presents, had lunch, took pictures and played red light green light got a goodies bag for coming and headed back to parent pick up spot. it was fun to see all the kids and stay and help with everything. our kids had a blast!! Thanks to the best bestie ever and for letting us be apart of a special time!!

(on a side note its funny how sometime you have things planned and they just don't go as planned!! communication was just not there, and no matter how on time we tried to be it just didn't happen, things were assumed, things forgot, drama, cranky kids okay adults too, so it was a good day to have such a good friend and be there to help each other and know that it's just not you! thanks for always being there for me & i am glad others have a bad day once and awhile too.)

ps. the best part of the day also came when scott and i got a date day after the party. how great was it to have her watch the kids for us, for a couple of hours of alone time! Sonic happy hour.....

it started with playing downstairs and then making individual pizza with strawberries and juice then went down and made a fort with our new fort kit i made and watched scooby-doo.

we didn't get to dessert because they came home to early!!!

so we had fruit snacks instead!

we love these boys and are so glad we are friends with them

Rebecca did a GREAT job planing his birthday party, it's always fun to attend her parties. The orange and blue colors, planes trains and automobiles theme, awesome cupcakes that Justin decorated and toppers she made, the thank you bags. Every detail was perfect. Thank for such a fun night. Even the jump house slide incident. Shaydon fell from the middle of the slide to the bottom. It was a little scary, but it didn't stop him from trying again. It's fun seeing our kids play together. both have 2 boyZ!! love you Bestie!!

thanks soooo much to my bestie rebecca for putting together a wonderful day. it started off with awesome invites she made and sent out (loved the orange and teal theme) then lunch at willow creek which by the way has the best sweet potato fries out there, good friends that joined us, fun cd's with kids music & jewelry holders she homemade (so crafty) for everyone. she put lots of time and effort into such a wonderful day. i hope she know how appreciative i am of her. we also treated ourselves to a mani/pedi after that.

she spoils me rotten and i love her for that.

It's sad to say, but I don't know how long we have had this tradition, but at least 8 years!! WE have officially DOUBLED in size since we 1st started. How fun though! This year we were lucky to have the Francis family in town and miss them being so close. We started by having the kids make their turkey hats and then on to a traditional turkey dinner, visiting, dessert and then to the photo of everyone.

We were reminiscing on how things have changed since we 1st started doing the dinner. On time with Elaborate table setting with name cards & center piece. Planning a month ahead. Games for adults and visiting until 10:30 at night. Now we are lucky to get there late, but better than never. With all the kids dresses and didn't forget the rolls in the oven at home. Crafts for the kids, dinner with a kids & adult tables & not enough room for everyone to sit down or highchairs. Food thrown, spills and can't hear yourself talk. Words of eat your food, but I want the other person's food. Not enough jello. Toys, toys, and more toys. Fighting over toys, learning to share. Something lost and forgotten. BUT we love it this way, RIGHT?!!

I wouldn't change it!
