One Flaw In Women

Women have strengths that amaze men.

and cheer when their friends get awards.
They are happy when they hear about
a birth or a wedding.
Their hearts break when a friend dies.
They grieve at the loss of a family member,
yet they are strong when they
think there is no strength left.
They know that a hug and a kiss
can heal a broken heart.
Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.
They'll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you
to show how much they care about you.
The heart of a woman is what makes the world keep turning.
They bring joy, hope and love.
They have the compassion and ideas.
They give moral support to their
family and friends.
Women have vital things to say
and everything to give.

HOWEVER, IF THERE IS ONE FLAW IN WOMEN,
IT IS THAT THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

Surgery

A hole in his heart has been there since he was a little boy!! The doctors were very surprised to see an adult that old with few strokes (2 MINOR) and not dead. How Scary. Larry came through he's surgery very well and was up and walking the next day. They put an umbrella into the hole and fixed it right up. We are so glad that Grandpa is okay!! We love you!!

Guest House

Our new addition, thanks to Tyson!!! We love all the space in our garage now!!! No more squeezing between things, banging car doors together, dropping things, unloading the car/truck in the driveway and then pulling into the garage, climbing over the seat to buckle Shaydon in his car seat, running over things, you get the picture.

We never thought the day would come when we would have too much stuff to park in the garage!!! Scott finished putting everything in the shead and now our garage is CLEAN!! It looks so nice, Thanks to Scott & Tyson!!!

is Shaydon's temperature today... it's started off with breakfast and he didn't eat much which is not like him. I didn't think much of it. Then he had only been up for 1 hour when I went to change his clothes for the day. I sat him on the changing table and he turned over to his stomach and layed his head down. So I started to rub his back & legs, after about 2-3 minutes I stoped and then he turned his head and gave me this look like "why are you stopping?" I asked him if he was still tired and he pointed to his crib so I went and layed him down and he took a nap for 2 hours!!! After his nap he was just in a whiny/my body hurts mood and wanted to be by my side all day. So I stopped what I was doing and just spent the day with my little sick boy. We cuddled on the couch, watched movies, TV, read some books and just hung out at the house all day. It was such a GREAT day!!! Even though he was sick my little sweetheart let me hold him, sit on my lap and hold my hand! It was the BEST!!! He never lets me do this.

This pix was him laying on my lap and he fell asleep while I was rubbing his back and playing with his hair. Who doesn't like their hair played with.

He ended up taking 4 naps today and MOM took one too!!

It was a SPECIAL day with my son I will never forget.

DARRON from SLC for Training in Boise

I met Darron 12 Years on the BLM Honor Guard. Since then we have become such good friends. It was nice to see him since our HG days are over. We missed Lindsey, but we were a good three some. I have a lot of good memories from this HG experience. We went to dinner at the Cheesecake factory, visited and then took in back to his Hotel.

Ida-Gold Farms & Mid-Way Dairy

Harvest Time

Gpa & Gma Gerratt took us on a trip to the family farm and Dairy. Grandpa loves it when he can take the grandkids to the farm. As Shaydon gets older I am sure he will be going with him a lot more. We love it & so does Shaydon. He was so entertained!!! I was surprised how much Grandma knew she was a wealth of knowledge. She use to work on the farm before she became a homemaker.

When Grandma Hunt comes to town.....

Grandma's are always there when you need them. I needed a babysitter on Wednesday for two hours at 12:00 noon, and she saved the day. Not only did she travel 2 hours for the job, but she got to watch Shaydon & Landon!! She played with the kids all day until Landon went home. We just hung out at the house and then did some errors she needed to to. She was coming down on Thursday anyway for a check up with her oncologist I just had her come a little early. Which went really well. Everything looks good and she only has to go 2 times year now. That night she received a facial from Panache that was long over due (for her birthday almost a year ago). She ended up staying until Friday and spent most of Friday with Tyson and Landon at his house, he has Friday's off. Cooking, Cleaning, Organizing and visiting. Thanks so much to dad for letting her come and holing the fort down in Burley while she was here. We had lots of fun and hope they come back soon. It's always hard when she leaves because 1. We will miss her and 2. Shaydon doesn't want to entertain himself he wants 24/7 attention that grandma gave him. So it takes a day or two before we are back into our schedule. Thanks again MOM!!

A New Toy

I work on Tuesday's. Scott has basketball on Tuesday nights now. So Jamie is watching Shaydon until I get home from work. When I picked him up he was playing in Yegars kennel. Jamie & I thought it was so funny. She said I got all the toy's out and all he wanted to do was go in and out of the kennel!!! So for the next week Roxy's kennel has been his favorite toy. I bet Roxy wonders what the heck is going on?! I make sure he gets a bath on those days!!!

16 months & growing

Shaydon is growing so big!!!

I remember when he looked so small in his crib and now he takes up most of the space

• he will eat anything you put in front of him
• doesn't like his face or hand washed after a meal
• loves to say "touch down" and throw up his arms
• will cuddle for only a few seconds if you ask him too
• helps put on his socks and like to take off his pants
• plays with Roxy by pulling on her tail and rolling/climbing our herlike to climb up on anything he can including the couch
• if you ask where Shaydon is he points to himself
• learns so quickly the things he's not suppose to do
• has 7 teeth now

Resolutions.....

i really don't believe in setting resolutions!!! i do try and live my life the best i can each day and that is what the gospel teaches us, but we all need a little help or kick start to get a few goals started.

A New Year

We celebrated by going to dinner at Goodwood BBQ and helping celebrate Bo's BIG "30th" Birthday !!

Then we were off to Nampa to visit the Down's. We haven't been out there for a really long time and Melissa is due in a couple of weeks. When we got there they were trying to put their boys down and we interrupted and they ended up staying up for another hour. Since it's been awhile Shaydon in now walking and they just loved that. They were running around yelling, screaming, showing off and just playing!! They brought out a side of Shaydon we haven't seen. They got along so well. I guess it's just nice to have visitor's!!!
