Nursery

So in December I decided I was going to take Shaydon to Nursery to get him use to it once a month until It was time for him to enter, the magical 18 months!! December went really well I just went in for an hour and then left and he stayed the last hour by himself. They said he did GREAT. No crying. So January comes and I go to take him in and the leader said that with the new year and all the kids moving up to the next class there is only 2 active kids and that I should just start bringing him every week. That week there was only one other child so with Shaydon he had someone to play with. So ever since we have been taking him and it's been GREAT!!! He have never cried or had any trouble so they say. I know he doesn't like to share that much, but it's exciting. My little boy is in Nursery!!! CRAZY..... Today he came home with his 1st handout. He was so exited and showed us.

Did you know they have a manual for nursery too. They work on each lesson for 2 weeks and then move on. They give us parent a copy of the manual so we can work on the lesson through out the week with them!!!

It's a little big, but lots of room to grow into.

Kalen Beck is graduating from the architecture program and we went to see his presentation of his thesis. He did a GREAT job and had a AWESOME project. It was also nice to see all the "Becks" we don't get together anymore with all of our schedules. My dad and Tim drove Mimi up to be there too.

Park

On Sunday while Scott and Tyson finished the floor I took Shaydon to the park so they could get some work done. He is such a helper and wants to be right in the middle of it all.

We did have fun at the park though, dad missed out. Not to mention it was 80 degrees.

Weekend Project

It only took 4 trips to Lowe's and the floor is looking great, they finished at 2:00am. Late night, but it's done. I am still cleaning up dust. It was fun to have the Down's over. The kids get along really well. The door to the kitchen has been open all day. It's so nice out there. The kids have been playing in and out all day long. In our shed we have tons of boxes that they were playing with and on the side of the house we have the in closed trailer parked there to use for packing. We haven't seen Trey or Nixon for awhile and I found them inside the trailer emptying out all the packed boxes for the move. Crazy kids. I wish I would of gotten a pix of it cause it was pretty funny, but frustrating too. How can you be mad at them? It was okay to play with the other boxes. They were very sweet and said there sorry. Even though Trey said it was all Nixon!! Boy's will be boy's..

The weekend always goes way to fast, but it's always so fun.

I also made my first fabric flower. Pretty easy & addicting!!! It's a pin so you can put it anywhere: a headband, clips, sweater, cardigan, jacket, bags or on their new Levi skirt.

Disaster

Tonight started a big project. It's 9:30pm. As you walked into our bedroom through the doorway the carpet was wet? What, did Roxy have an accident? No!! Then all of the sudden Scott said, I bet it is from the dishwasher. It had been leaking for like 2 weeks, but I didn't think much of it. I always leave a cup/bowl/tupperware right side up and it fills with water. Then I drop it, bump it and it spills everywhere, happen to anyone else? So I didn't think much of it when there was water in front of the dishwasher. Well it's officially a leak or should I say flood. Nothing like timing. We are suppose to be moving at the end of the month. I am sure this is going to run into my new house budget!! Ugh......







We went to bed at 11:30pm and called it a night, but not after a clean oven, wall, cupboard & back splash and the floor drying with fans

My dad had a food show in Boise & Mimi came up too. It was fun to all go together and try all the new & existing products. There were some good ones!! Can't wait until they come in. I also introduced them to Cash n' Carry. I worked in the afternoon so they watched Shaydon for me.
