This was Shaydon 1st preschool field trip. His teacher had a BINGO card for them to fill out and put stickers on when they saw each animal and then they got a prize when they got a black out! Silly bands shaped in animals!!! She also gave each one a animal hat. Just as in preschool they got animal crackers for their snack and a little mini bottle water. Isn't she GREAT!! Thanks Darci!! Shaydon had such a fun time with his class. It was fun to meet the mom's too.

scott promised shaydon that if he didn't have a potty accident all day that he could have ice cream from the ice cream truck. Well he hasn't had a accident for a few weeks, but since school started i (WE) haven't heard the ice cream truck for weeks. Well today was the day. I had just laid down slater for his nap and turned the music on and shaydon says what is that noise? as he is running to the window. I said it's the music in slaters room. He said no mom it's the ice cream truck. Sure enough it was. He has good hearing like his dad. He probable could of heard it a mile away though. So we ran out and caught it and the rest is history.

(i think he thought his dirt pile was the sand box, but he loves the sand and mom hates it in her house, should of though about that. Oh well he loves it and it keeps him busy for hours!!) I love the location of it. I can sit at the kitchen table and just watch him. He does like slater to watch too in the bouncer in the tree shade.

What a day

Around 6pm Shaydon was coming in to the house to go potty from helping dad build his sandbox. He was running and fell on the patio edge and split his chin open. I didn't know the doc in the box takes these kind of cases, but they do and i am sure it saved us lot of $$$. The Dr. ended up just putting durmabond (super glue) to seal it up. Shaydon was soo brave and didn't even cry. I thought he might have a concussion, but the Dr. said no.

Oh so the very next day on Saturday he shut his fingers in the door, ran in to the BBQ and got a goose egg and fell of the bed!! I don't think the right and left side of his brain are working together. poor guy.....it's been a rough couple of days...

Rebecca did a GREAT job planing his birthday party, it's always fun to attend her parties. The orange and blue colors, planes trains and automobiles theme, awesome cupcakes that Justin decorated and toppers she made, the thank you bags. Every detail was perfect. Thank for such a fun night. Even the jump house slide incident. Shaydon fell from the middle of the slide to the bottom. It was a little scary, but it didn't stop him from trying again. It's fun seeing our kids play together. both have 2 boyZ!! love you Bestie!!

Shaydon has been waiting for this day for a long time. I don't know when I 1st talked to him about going to school maybe March or April when I signed him up, but he hasn't stoped talking about it since. Loves when we pass a school bus and can't wait to ride on one. (he thinks he's going on one soon) we have threatened potty training with school and lied to him about calling his teacher to tell him he can't go because big boys don't go the the bathroom in their underwear. Knowing the whole time he would be starting regardless. Well, he loved it. I dropped him off and walked him to the door and he walked in like he owned the place. He handed his teacher (Darcy) her present (a bottle of water with "Shaydon is thirsty for your knowledge" (thanks Korbi) and sat down with the other kids. There are 3 girls and 3 boys. I was a proud mom of how brave he was but my heart was melting he didn't even give me a hug or kiss bye.... no tears were shed, but my little boy is growing up. Oh, we had to call papa and nana on the way to school so he could tell them that today was his 1st day of school. How cute!! Everyone is excited for this little guy.

When I got out of the truck he opened the door and came running out and said HI MOM gave me a hug and said i went to school all by myself!!

Darcy said he had a good day and liked using the glue.

On the way home we stopped and got chicken nuggets at McDonald's for completing his 1st Day!

Well after a 1 year and 3 months Scott is finally building a sand box.

we picked a permanent spot and he started to dig up the grass.

Hopefully it will be done soon.

Shaydon is loving the dirt though.

grandma and grandpa gerratt randomly shaydon wanted to see the pix we have of the gerratt family!! he went through and named every single person in the photo and proceeded to say how much he miss grandma and grandpa gerratt and gave them a big KISS!!! it was so cute. my cousin regan was here visiting and he just kept talking about them and showing her the pix and saying that this is MY grandma and grandpa gerratt. love those moments... shaydon (We) pray for you guys every night and for the missionary's.

Scott's Birthday

we started off the day by placing little notes everywhere for daddy to see that we were thinking of him on his special day. Then we took him to lunch at Smokey Mountain Pizza. Shaydon kept telling everyone that it was his daddy's Birthday. So cute!!! The rest of the day was getting everything ready for the BIG SURPRISE that night, a BBQ with his friends. Scott picked what we were eating (steak, pasta salad, corn on the cob, green salad and bake potato.) It was a good turn out and everyone had a good time.

He loved the new red shirts from the boyZ & loved the card we made with their hand prints.
