Movie Night

or campout!! or both

Scott got a wild hair and got the tent and set it up for a movie and campout in our back yard. One of those spure of the moments...adventures for the summer.

We watched 101 dalmations with popcorn and soda. Poor slater was alread asleep by the time we got started. Scott couldn't find the rain fly so what were the chances of it raining? Good we got rained out about 3am. it was funny, but sad. Shaydon kept wondering how he got in his bed. "DAD what happened to our camp out?"

It was going to be our girls night at RS, but they ended up kicking us out for the H2O Overload and we couldn't be in there. So much for riding the rides. It was a big night of Famous people though? Do you know who that is? We met him and got out photo with him. We fit right in the the teeny boppers!! I mean we are young at heart!!

It did take them a while to settle down, but they did.

I had the monitor on and was upstairs listening to them talking. It was so cute. Landon wanted his mom, but shaydon was being the adult and telling him that he could have his mom and trying to help him so he wasn't scared. They are such GREAT cousins.

went swimming on saturday. Bboth landon and shaydon had a little scare and went under as they got closer to the deep end. It was a little scary,but they did GREAT!

Boise Twilight Criterium 2011

CHECK: the boise twilight criterium is something we have always wanted to go and do,but just never have. Well this year we were lucky enough to know someone who was racing! Our very own Justin Bledsoe!! It made it very exciting and fun! Dinner at the Brick Oven Bistro and dessert at Ben and Jerry's!! Thanks for saving seats Rebecca and what a STUD rider you have!! Congrats Justin!!!

(if you have kids you know that they don't have a concept of time! only an hour before we left the house for the race did i tell him what we were going to do. so the next 2 hours tested my patience!!! he was so excited and asked so many questions i was about done before we even got started. we watch a few of the field events before the track events started and all he kept saying "was when is my race" so scott went and started to practice with him explaining all the rules and lane assignments. he asked more questions...until finally the other kids got there and they got all the questions. Gotta love my 3 year old)
