You are growing right before our eyes and we are enjoying every stage you go through.

• Still sleeping through the night

• Loves Jessica's on Tuesdays
• Rides in the front of the shopping cart
• Holds a bottle & feeds himself
• Going for walks in the stroller even fell asleep for the 1st time today
• Scott says your hair on top is too long for a Mohawk, Oh well
• Thinks his pacifier is a toy
• Sleeps on his sides and with his bear every night
• Loves & sticks to his routine religiously as Scott says

He is so precious. We love you soooooo much!!! Thanks for bringing so much happiness to our family.

World Record

JENGA was our game of choice on Sunday night. We made it 37 levels high it was so intense that after it fell they went straight to the Internet to see what the world record was and we couldn't find a valid answer, but the highest one we found was 35 levels....

We are the World Record holders in our house anyway.

Yard Sale

Tis the season for garage sales!! My parents love to go & I would go with them when I was younger & now I love to go. I haven't got Scott to go & shop with me, but he will drive me around which is very helpful.

Kemper Hessing

Since his parents are on vacation in Hawaii (jealous) we got to help watch him! We ate dinner with him and the Curtis's at Flat Bread Community Oven on Thursday night. This restaurant is in Bown Crossing in Boise and there is an amazing candy store there, Powell's which we did for dessert.

Shaydon and I also got to watch him on Friday afternoon. It was a fun filled 2.5 hours.

Projects

I have been trying to finish some projects that are all half done!!! Here are two of my now COMPLETED projects!!! I really don't like to sew, but it's a little contagious... I am getting better and better. My mom suggest a class? Why? It's easier to just learn by trial and error and that takes less time.... CRAZY. A class...But a big THANKS to a friend in the ward who helped me read the patterns!!!!



These are for Father's day matching Father & Son. Scott had two material's to pick from and he choose this one. I am sure if he went to the fabric store with me he would of choose something completely different...







I am sure for those of you who blog lots have seen some of the sites with these cute baby & toddler tutus. I thought I could make one for half the price. These two are for a friend who had twins. Lily yours is coming and the more I make the better I get & they look. I can't wait for you to wear it to ballet.

Cousins

We have been watching Landon on every other Monday & Wednesday and it has been so much fun. Shaydon can't wait until he get big enough to actually play. Thanks for letting us us watch him we LOVE it!!! I got these cute outfits for them at Christmas time and couldn't wait for Landon to be born so we could take some pix of them together. Cousins Shaydon's feet were too big for his little booties.

1st Shower

This was taken after our 1st shower together. Shaydon didn't quite know what to do with water falling on him even though he kept putting his head under it. He loves water in any sense. Roaring Springs is going to be so fun this summer.

Sorry for the picture quality. My camera has been on the fritz since December. I am shopping for a new one. Any suggestion is welcome!!! Part of the reason for no post lately!!!

As most of you know that have kids; if you walk into any kids/baby store there is always more girl stuff verses boy stuff. I just love these big flowers hat and headbands by Gigis. I tried them on Shaydon and he did not like them (neither did his dad) which he is going to kill me that I posted them. They came in a cute little round hat box!!! Anyway to check out there site click here. I bought them for some friends. JoLynn I hope that you don't mind that Shaydon tried it on. I bet it looks much better on Aleena!!! SURPRISE!!!

Sorry for the pix, my camera is offically broken I hope to get one soon. I will post more pix as I get them from the guest.

My mom had no idea that we were throwing her a surprise 50th Birthday Party. Thanks to my dad and also to Bev Young who got me some email addresses to spread the word. It was such a GREAT turn out and most importantly she was SURPRISED!!! She thought she was just coming down to a BB-Q with our immediate family since it was conference weekend. She had a VERY busy weekend with 2 auction on Saturday. Not to mention 3 caterings on Monday for lunch. I called and told mom that she had to come down this weekend and she said no!! She just had too much going. I immediately called dad and said he was going to have to pull teeth and probably tell her the truth to get her to come, but amazingly she came and he didn't have to ruin the surprise. Thanks for all those who came & supported her she out of all women she deserved every bit of the attention today!!!

I have been busy making decorations and food all week long. I made homemade potato salad & pasta salad, fresh strawberry's, rosemary and olive oil bread with balsamic vinegar & oil along with hummus for dipping, chips, and Oreo mint & peanut butter truffles, Scott on the grill with chicken breast, burgers & dogs. Cheesecake for dessert drizzled with berry puree. The Food & Guests were GREAT the weather for the most part cooperated too. Oh, did I mention that we had a clown come and she made her a crown and wand to rule her party!!! She (the clown) stayed and made balloon shapes and animals for the kids.

We got to watch Trey tonight while Justin & Rebecca went to a birthday party!!! We always have fun when Trey comes over. We started with watching college basketball on TV, a walk around the block with Shaydon in the stroller and Trey on his scooter, dinner, bubbles, playing catch with Roxy and popping bubbles, playing with Shaydon's toys, reading books with Scott and then they came to pick him up. Times sure goes by FAST! Thanks for playing Trey we can't wait for you to come again.
