Hair Cut/Trim

My Mother-in-law trimmed Shaydon's hair when we were in bear lake over Memorial weekend. It was sad knowing that my baby is growing up.

Tooth

It's on the bottom right just poking through he is defiantly been more fussy but we love teething biscuits

Since I 1st made this post he now has #2 right in the front

This was the longest Shaydon had been up in a long time we left the game at 10:00pm and by the time we got out of the parking lot he was asleep. He was such a trooper!! I thought he might sleep in, but it was just a thought!!! No such LUCK....

Roaring Springs

Today was our 1st trip to the water park. Shaydon was so excited that he skipped his mid-morning feeding, he did so good. We only stayed for about 2 hours because I had to work. It was perfect though to see what I need to bring and what I don't. It's going to be fun just going for a few hours. Thanks Scott for our season pass. We even ventured down the slide together.

We have lots of friends with passes so there is always going to be someone to go with!!!

Yard Sale Heaven

So usually when I go to Yard sales there is soooo much girl stuff, but today I hit the jackpot!! I was a little sad because I had to work in the morning and wasn't able to go before work. (Early bird gets the worm). So on my way home there was one close to my house so I stopped.

I know you think I am CRAZY to get so excited, but I had it all washed, folded and in storage boxes with in a few hours.

Strawberry Freezer Jam

Thank you to Jessica for inviting me to make Strawberry Freezer Jam. It's one of those things I have always wanted to do, but haven't.

So we both got the recipes from our grandma's thinking they would be different, but they were exactly the same.

Guess our Grandams think alike!!

I also made some of my mom's homemade rolls to go with the jam, it was delicious!

It was a fun Friday afternoon visiting, laughing and getting messy

It's nice because we are VT partners and we gave our girls some of the finished product

The Hunts & The Gerratts

We had a pot luck for a breakfast menu. Lots of visiting and relaxing!! Reading books, watching DVD's, playing games, Eating, Eating and Eating. Did I say EATING?! You should of seen the snack table. We have a sweet tooth. We teased that no one could leave until the food was gone. We ended up leaving lots of food for our friends that live there. Thanks again to Angie and Jeff for hooking us up with a spacious Cabin with Beautiful view of the lake. I am sad I didn't even get a pix fo the Cabin. The weather didn't cooperate for us, but we still had a GREAT time. Thanks for everyone who came and made it a fun trip.

Thursday

• Pack and travel to Burley
• Family Pictures canceled due to weather
• Dinner at Al's with Hunt's and Beck's (Jennica Down)

Friday

• Load Rhino
• Gather last minute stuff
• Leave for Bear Lake went through Logan Utah
• Check into Cabin and unload
• My dinner night Mexican (chicken enchilada, black beans and rice)
• Wait in anticipation for everyone to arrive
• Happy Birthday to Todd

Saturday

• Swimming at the indoor pool
• Lunch by Alisa hogies sandwiches
• The guys unloaded the boat went for a ride and docked it over night
• Dinner by Debbie Italian (Lasagna green salad)
• Bingo Night with the Grand prize of $1.00 Congrats Brooke

Sunday

• Everyone slept in as good as you can with kids
• Went for a walk to the park Awesome Jumpo'lean (I made that word up)
• Lunch by Yvonne Southwestern Salad Bar (Delicious)
• Guys road the motor-X bikes/Rhino there were trails right off our cabin
• Wendy's grilled Chicken (marinated with balsamic vinegar) red potatoes and veggies and rolls
• Went wake boarding and surfing in the 38 degree water, Did yo say die hard?!!! There was still snow on the mountains in the background pics to prove it
• Campfire with smores' (strawberry marshmallow's) and lots of stories
• Poker night congrats Scott for the big winnings

Monday

• Slept in
• Packed up and left for Idaho, went through Montpelier, Idaho
• Stopped in Pocatello for Lunch and meet up with My family and traveled to Burley together
• Family Pictures canceled due to weather in Burley again. (Sara are we ever going to get these pix taken? The darn weather)

Sunday Afternoon

Today after church we went to Nampa to visit the Down's. We had a BBQ and then took the "kids" to the baseball field.

They also have a roommate right now, Rodney Berry who is a HS friend and just moved over to Idaho from California.

Oh, don't forget Congrats to Melissa with #3 on the way!!! She stayed home for some R&R!!

My New Toy...

When I visited California in March my Aunt Connie gave me an HP !PAC. Just like when you are a kid and you get a new toy you hurry home to get things set up and working. Well, I am not very good at techy stuff so It's taken my awhile to get things rolling. Good thing our friend Dustin does this stuff for a living and with a little bribing (BBQ) he brought his family and came over and help me finish getting it to sync. Thanks guys!!!

I am still getting use to doing everything electronic VS paper, but I am going to love it!!!

Update...

Shadyon's fever broke on Sunday afternoon, Yea!!! So I didn't have to take him back to the Doctors office. I think he had Roseolla because when his fever broke he broke out in a rash all over his body and face. Thanks Yvonne for the heads up. He is still napping a lot more than he use to during the day and is only nursing, no solids. Just not interested. His personality is slowing coming back, but still is not himself. He is only waking up one a night now and today is was at 6:30am. So things are looking better for Mom and Shaydon.
