airport or SEAPORT

shaydon has been waiting patiently for weeks to go to the "seaport" to pick up nana. we were ready with our sign, balloons & red vines when she arrived. Grandma gave shaydon her bag of pretzels and an airplane that lights up.

He was so excited.

It's going to be a fun week with nana!!

till i am due......

i can't believe that I am going this long, i was a week early with shaydon
went to albies & fred meyer this morning
then to the post office
off to the dr. today and she striped my membranes (pray for 12-24 hours that he comes)
then off to the mall for some walking
take out lunch from thai cuisine for some SPICY red curry, yummmmm
can you tell i am ready?
starting to contract by 2:00pm
scott came home early from work
thanks to bo and jamie for watching shaydon until papa got there (5:00pm)
stoped and got a jamba juice on the way to my office
labored at the office for a few hours (picked up heating pad)
checked in at the hospital at 8:00pm, dilated to a 5 contractions 3-5 minutes apart for a minute


i am one of those!! ugh who got sent home at 9:30pm for not progressing
went home to rest and woke up by 12:30am

yard sales

i spent $32.50 on clothes for my boys.

all name brand GAP & quicksilver.

i think they will be outfited for awhile.

not too often do you find boy stuff.

that includes a pair of shorts and shade shirt for myself

and

an ice pack for scott, he's the one always getting hurt

• We were driving to dinner on Friday night and he said "Jamie who are you texting?"


• Eating Lunch and said "ummm tasty" his dad says this all the time.


• Had is 1st bad dream and woke up crying went to comfort him and he said "the monster killed me" (where did he get this from we never talk about monsters or killing people. talked about in a different context, but he put it together in another context)


• "Chow down wide load" thanks to chris (do you know what movie it's from?)


• "What's up dude" thanks to papa

iam sure there are more, but can't think of them....

up-date

I told Shaydon we were going to your baby brothers appointment today and he said " Do I get to meet my little brother today?" I said no, but soon we will. As we pulled into the hospital parking lot Shaydon says "is this where I will be meeting my bother?" yes i said in a few days. He is so smart, I just love him and can't believe how big he is getting. I am dilated to a 4 and 70% effaced and am a -1. She could of striped my membranes, but we deiced we aren't in too big of a hurry. So am getting close I bet with in the next 4 days (at least with Shaydon), my Dr. said see you Thursdays so we will see. I am starting to hold fluid as I gain 3lbs in a week.

Better get my bags packed. Nothing on the schedule this week. It's nice, but a little weird.

We will enjoy the down time and special time left with only Shaydon!!!

miscellaneous

• found a pair of seven jean for only 8.00 at a yard sale (we'll see if i can fit into them in a couple of months)
• our cousin lexie is here nannying for my sister-in-law while they are in hawaii (so fun to see and spend time with her) the kids had so much fun together too
• sad i am not going to the jj coles sale, but thank you to alisa for getting me my items
• getting adjusted by dr. ferch every 2 weeks now
• shaydon and i got out hair cut on friday, much needed thanks miss nicole as shaydon says
• worked a lot these last two weeks
• broke a tooth eating a pretzel and can't do anything about it until after the baby comes, thanks to dr. taylor for helping me not look like white trash for the next 2 weeks
• don't want to cook at all these days
• thanks to all the calls and well wishes for our family the next week
• got released from are nursery calling

For play group this week we took Andi and Shaydon to meet Lexi and Nic at the park.

They had fun playing and eating snacks.

The boys were running wild and Andi would look and them and be content on the swings.

These two have literally grown up together.

It's so fun to see them develop into such good kids I hope they will always stay good friends.

milo

These too had so much fun playing together. Milo got drop off about 1:30pm and they stayed up and play until 2:00pm and then both went down for a nap. They woke up and played some more and watch part of a movie until his mom came. They played so good together!!

Boys will be boys.

Thanks to Milo's mom for trusting us to watch him while she worked.

We know that Shaydon loves to go to Milo's house when I work.

Shaydon even pointed out Milo in a restaurant a few days later.

It wasn't him, but it look like him.

They sit in front of us at church and Shaydon is always saying Mom there is Milo and Cara!!!

We got the opportunity to go and visit Tyson and Landon so we brought our Easter presents that we have been saving for quite some time from papa Hunt, nana Hunt and mimi. They had fun opening everything and especially eating the candy. Thanks grandma and grandpa and great grandma we love you very much!!! The boys had fun playing for a couple of hours until Landon went down for his morning nap.

14 days left

thanks to rebecca for the maternity pix they turned out great. I couldn't be happier!!! we went to our refresher birthing class on thursday night 6:30-9:00pm and it went well, other than trying to find a babysitter( thank a million emma h.) its was nice to refresh. the doctor gave me the okay to have this baby boy so hopefully sooner than later. we were talking and since your second child goes faster, this birth might be less than 3 hours. maybe that is wishful thinking on my behalf. my stats are weight 28 lbs, measuring 37, BP 123/78. everything looks good now it's the waiting game. shaydon loves to hear the heart beat at my appointment, that's my baby brother he says. he is still a kicker/mover and gives me heart burn. Last week of work yeah....

i am not quite to the point of wanting to have the baby, but you know your getting close when your belly touches your legs when sitting down, you are down to only a few clothes that actually fit you, need help when getting up and down off the couch, back to getting up at least 2 times a night to use the bathroom, takes you longer to do any simple task, have had a few contractions & are tired by noon.

it was the 1st mothers day when shaydon was talking and understood that the nice kind acts of service were for my special day. we called all the mothers and grandmothers in our life to let them know how special they are.

girls lunch

thanks soooo much to my bestie rebecca for putting together a wonderful day. it started off with awesome invites she made and sent out (loved the orange and teal theme) then lunch at willow creek which by the way has the best sweet potato fries out there, good friends that joined us, fun cd's with kids music & jewelry holders she homemade (so crafty) for everyone. she put lots of time and effort into such a wonderful day. i hope she know how appreciative i am of her. we also treated ourselves to a mani/pedi after that.

she spoils me rotten and i love her for that.

21 Days left

This was a big weekend of getting things done. Yea!!!! Started to get heartburn so bad that It wakes me up at night and not sleeping very good. My allergies are getting so bad that I have a sore on my nose from wiping it so many times. Getting more tired, but loving my naps in the afternoon with Shaydon. Going into the Dr. weekly now. Weight gain has been just the same as with Shaydon, measuring 36 weeks, pelvic bone sore. He is such a kicker my kick counts only take me 1 minute to do. Shaydon gets excited when he hears his heart beat which is 176.
