We are going to miss our Tuesday dates to Roaring Springs. We just love that place. It's going to be a little crazy next year with a 3.5 year old and a 1 year old, but bring it on right? There is officially nothing Shaydon won't do in the kiddie area at RS. The BIG scary bucket that dumps water was the final item he wouldn't do, but with the help of his friend Andi they did it together. Good Job Shaydon we are so proud of you!!

CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMANT...

I have wanted to roast smores since the beginning of summer, i even made my dad bring up some wood on one of his trips up here. Finally got to put it to use...

We started out the day by sleeping in thanks boyZ. Got ready and headed out to meet dad for lunch at P.F. Changs, love the lettuce wraps and sitting on the patio. Felt bad for our server who dropped the whole dish of spices on my diaper bag. Made for a Cheap lunch thanks to the manager. Headed home only to find the road blocked off because there is a fire going on. They did let us though. Thanks to the BLM'ers for putting it out. Took naps and woke up and headed to work. Stoped at Costco for a mocha freeze. When I got home i had dinner from my favorite Thai food restaurant, flowers and a card with money, yeahh!!!
Ended the night with my smores for dessert!!!

It ended up being a birthday week. AWESOME......Wednesday we headed to RS for the last time. Thursday Rebecca took us to breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then headed to the Birds of Prey for the 1st time ever!!! WOW what a place more to come on that. Opened a beautiful card from my mom. Friday went to lunch with Jessica and had a massage by Tasha...

wow what a CRAZY 4 days. i forget how much work the fair is. 1st off thanks sooo much to mimi, todd and brenda, britni and the browns for helping me get through this week. i couldn't of done it with out them watching my kids. shaydon is potty training and slater taking a bottle is a lot of extra work besides just watching them. at home when slater needs to eat i just drop what i am doing and feed him. here it didn't work like that. all of the sudden i would look at the clock and i missed two pumping session and was soooo full. if it were up to papa he would have shaydon down there all day. it was just to stressful for me!! i was freaking out when i didn't know exactly where he was. last year he got lost and was in the jump house. he just wandered off. this year he stuck around better, but kept asking when he could go to the jump house. and papa would take him. also juston's son christian came up to help and he was sooo awesome. did i say how good of help he was?!! he was!!!! we couldn't of done it with out him. on one day it was just the two of us until 1:00pm because no-one else showed up for work. we missed him on saturday!! i could do with out a taco salad or chicken salad for awhile. it was fun to see people because i am a social butterfly, but it was hard to talk when i was in the trailer working the whole time. my favorite thing was the fried OREO's!! yummm my mouth is watering just talking about them. i did get the recipe this year. we didn't run out of ice cream or salads. shaydon still ask when we are going back to the fair. he doesn't get that it only come 1 X a year. scott was on a BOYS camping trip so he did get here until sat late afternoon. sure could of used his help. (where is my girls trip?) i stayed with mimi this trip and it was a lot of fun. it's been since i was a little girl that i stayed at her house. we reminisced about the old days when she would do my hair in ringlets and make me toast with hot coco (nesquick), travel to pocatello eat steak. i sure love my mimi. i also went to aubry jones baby shower for about 5 minutes. i got her a boy present and she is having a girl. how do you like that? where is my mind?!! well the earliest i went to bed was 1:00am and the latest was 3am and back up at 8:00. i don't know how i did it, but i did. had lots of aches and pains on sunday.

Shaydon and Andi are 2 weeks apart. They have been friends from the beginning of life. Shaydon talks alot about Andi and was excited for her party. The puppy theme is perfect for her. I don't remember a time that she didn't like puppy's. She taught Shaydon how to bark, walk like a dog, beg and even pee...like one. They ate hot dogs, painted their face, played fetch, broke open a puppy pinata, ate cake and ice cream and took home puppy chow in their goodie bag. So cute!!!

I hope they remain friends for life.

the "room"

the Idaho capital has been under remodel for quite some time and we have wanted to go and see the new look. so we started the day off at the down town market and then headed over to the capital. i didn't know if you could go in to the "room" but it was open and we went in. we had a fun time and shaydon though it was pretty cool. it's been since we (scott and i) were in 4th grade that we have been to the capital. not quite what i remember. the visitor center was very interesting and lots of information. saw our tax dollars at work. VERY BEAUTIFUL!!! we ended up with a potty accident and having to leave but that will happen sometimes, not to mention that his shoe strap kept falling off every sec..

Slater started sleeping through the night on his 2 month birthday ~ 9:00 pm until 8-8:30am. He is such a easy baby. He is eating every 2.5-3 hours during the day and taking 3-4 naps a day. The 4th one is a CAT nap right before bed. He eats like a champ and loves mama's milk. No soreness either. He takes a bottle way better than Shaydon did now that mom is working again. He is filling out all over his body. Getting little rolls. He has a bald spot on the back of his head even though I nap him on his side. (I really didn't want him to get it) It even wraps around on the sides. He started to smile, giggle, cooing and even laugh to anyone who will talk to him. I've never seen such a smiley baby. he seems so happy and you can see it in his eyes. He never cries!!! Just fussy when he gets hungry or tired. He does take the Binky when he's getting hungry and that will give you about 30 minutes till he needs to be feed. The circumcision healed fine and so did his belly button. Still has a little fold in his right ear which will be his marker!! The cradle cap in gone thank goodness it didn't last too long. I think he smells like a boy not a baby. Got that from his dad. His blessing by his father went well and he is well loved by friends and family. I feel very blessed to be his mother. I don't know if it's because i feel more comfortable in my mothering skills or if he is just a laid back little boy but two is not as bad as i though it would be. I love the age difference. Shaydon is really into his brother and wants to know where he is. Helps with diapers, putting the Binky in and playing/dancing/talking-singing to him.

I am so lucky to have such a good little boy!!!

We love you and are so excited that you a apart of our family!!

shaydon finally went down the orange slide, nothing will stop him now.

we invited cara and milo to come to RS with us a couple of time and they finally came. yeah!!!they both had so much fun and milo was so brave and went down the tube slide and the yellow slide in the kiddo section & we also tried the big enclosed slide. he did so good.

Potty Training

is going pretty good.

We only had one accident today!!!

The little things we are grateful for!!

We have been threatening that if he doesn't learn to go in the big boy potty (BBP) then he can't go to preschool. Seems to be working. We have been watching lots of Elmo's potty time and getting lots of "special" treats when he does go (fruit snacks & gum 2 of his favorites). I always tell him when he does go in the BBP how proud of him I am i knew he could do it. One day he said " I am proud of me mom I knew I could do it" so cute!!!

We love you Shaydon and keep up the good work.
