The Hunt Christmas
Traditions on the Hunt side this year were a little off. Being that Scott and I are both from Burley we usually never have to choose where we will spend Christmas. Since we were in Utah with his family for Christmas morning we rolled into town just in time to have dinner at my grandma Mimi's house. Which means we had to do Christmas with my family in the evening of Christmas day instead of in the morning like we used to.

Christmas at Grandma's
I love to go to Mimi's house. Ever since I was little I have always looked forward to the dinner all my aunts and grandma cook. Sipping hot apple cider is my all time favorite. We are a dill pickle family and it wouldn't be a gathering if there weren't pickles in the pickle elevator. Seeing my cousins and sharing all our new Christmas presents with each other and grandma & grandpa is a highlight. We would play, put on a talent, dance, gymnastic, singing, showoff show. Those were the day's. Now that we are all grown up and live in different areas we don't get to see each other very often, but we are now having kids so that means they are playing together. It's so fun to see them all playing together like we did. Watching them open their presents is what Christmas is all about. Give Shaydon a couple of years and he will be in the mix

TrADiTIoNs
Another one of our traditions for the last 6 years is to get together with the Bledsoe's and Blad's for for our Christmas Dinner, it's a potluck. Brooks ham was from Costco and so tasty while Scott and I have been waiting all year for Rebecca's sweet potato's and I brought my homemade rolls. This year Blads hosted it (they just moved into a new & bigger house which is beautiful). We do a kid & family photo and a gift exchange! The gift exchange is usually for the wife's, but has now extended to the kids which is fun to watch them open. That is what Christmas is all about. I gave each child a little sack of goodies: slinky's, pencils, punch ball, candy & some reindeer antlers, they looked so cute and kept them entertained. Thanks Brook & Rebecca to keeping our tradation going. We love you guys...
McCall (9 months) & Shaydon (4 months)......They are so cute!!
My camera was on the fritz s again so I am waiting for photos from the others of our fun night to post.... Stay tuned.

THE BIG EASY
Friday 7, 2007
Happy Birthday Ryan Deluca 30 Years old.....
Ryan's Wife Bryna threw him a surprise Birthday Party at The Big Easy. His whole company Bodybuilding.com was invited along with friends and family. It was a fun night that started off by singing Happy Birthday to Ryan then there was lots of food to eat: American, Italian, Mexican, Asian, & dessert. Then came the presents as you can see it was a custom bike that orange county choppers designed just for him. Dancing followed by visiting with friends. Thanks Deluca's for throwing a fun party for everyone to enjoy....
Having a GREAT time.
Tyson & his fiance Brook Deluca
Our friends Bo & Jamie Perkins
Tyson, Al & Shaydon poising for the camera
Shaydon was such a good boy that night he even had fun.......

Lake Channel, Idaho
Saturday 25, 2007
Since Scott and I have been married (almost 7 years) I have never taken him to Lake Channel. It's where my grandpa and grandma Hunt grew up, it's near Rockland, Idaho. My parents and our little family headed up on Saturday and spent the day there. It's was lots of fun. We ATV, hiked around, looked for arrow heads, shot guns, got a history/family lesson and tried to take lots of pictures. Scott is already planing a trip in the spring/summer!!

Black Friday
As the tradition lives on we always go shopping on Black Friday. It's not quite as fun as the day after Christmas, but it's such a sport now!! I drove my grandma Mimi to Twin Falls and let the fun begin. This is us grand kids eating lunch at Chili's after our adventures!!!
