I have been wanted to let Shaydon bring his shopping cart to go grocery shopping for some time now and I finally remember and we did it. We were a little slow, but it was worth it.

He thought he was so cool.

We walked the whole store and he never got tired once.

He even helps put them away when we get home.

He didn't want to put much in his cart, I tried!!

He was choosy to what went in.

He had such a fun time!!

Most everyone was nice and told him what a GREAT helper he was.

Nursery

We got put into nursery last July.

We started off by having the younger age 18 months- 2 years.

In October we got the older Nursery ages 2-3 years old.

We didn't have Shaydon in our class for 3 months, but he's back with us.

It's amazing how much 6-8 months maturity will get you. It's almost like we have the younger kids again most of them don't turn 3 until late in the year.

We are excited for the new year and new class.

Shaydon loves church & even knows when we pass the church building on non church going days. He repeated his 1st prayer in December. So precious!!!

He loves to wear a tie and belt to church like his daddy.

He packs his bag of coloring books and toy for sacrament.

He brings us such joy.

were my choice for DESSERT tonight!!

They turned out pretty good other than the house smells like fried oil!!

We had them for the 1st time at the Cassia County Fair last August and I always wanted to know how they made them. So awhile ago we were watching Jay Leno & Kim Kardashian was on and her favorite junk food is fried Oreo and they made some. So I got that same recipe & tried it. Pretty good, but not as good as the 1st time I had them.

Landon is a very picky eater and we have found that Wednesday are officially

Day's. It's always a guarantee he will eat lunch. Shaydon really didn't like it, but since Landon does they eat it together now.

well shaydon is almost 2 1/2 and i figured it was time to allow him to play with play dough. he sure had fun while i got dinner ready tonight. he loves to cut it with the knife & scissors BEST! he is already asking to play with it after dinner. maybe tomorrow!!

This is only our 2nd time going to the game, but Shaydon sure loves to sit and watch his daddy play. He brings his jersey and ball so he thinks he can play too, but actually he does well with sitting a watching dad play. They lost this game, but only by 7 and they played the best team in the league and they were missing 2 players.

We enjoy watching him play!!

We made them (Jessica & I)!!! I've always wanted to make some, but It made me a little nervous.

I think they turned out GREAT.

We learned some lessons for the next time. (Valentines is the next holiday)

Shaydon and Ethan had fun playing with each other or should I say Shaydon showing off for Ethan and entertaining him. I've never seen him do that. I guess it was the 1st time being around a smaller baby.

Shaydon didn't really want to go sledding, but dad couldn't have a pansie for a son and took him anyway. He wasn't scared he just didn't want to go (He was super tired cause, we went on the way out of town) He loved it when he was done, but didn't really want to go again. I think he ended up going 4 times with dad and once with me. We tipped over and dad couldn't have that so they ended on a good note with one last run with dad!!

Thanks to Juston for letting us stay at the cabin, Shaydon loved to say my cabin! We always have such a fun & relaxing time while we are there! Yeah for Scott having MLK off. Thanks for taking us for a wonderful weekend we love you!!!

Travis has been fixing our grout in the master bathroom and this is his new addition to his family. He loved our Roxy so much that he got one of his own. Roxie is about 3 months old. Such a cutie. Roxy enjoyed having her around & so did we!

We had lunch with some of Scott's friends from Albertson's. We last got together with them for a camping trip during the 4th of July. How time flies!! It was fun to see everyone again!

Potty Training

My dad is one of the 1st to change Shaydon's Dirty diaper, but this weekend he put him in underwear and it looks like I need to start to training. He went 2X in the potty for dad, just that morning. He was so excited, well so was papa, mom & dad. I wanted to do this back in October, but it was when I found out that we were expecting and I was soooo sick. So it got put on hold. Well my new goal is to get is done by February, but hoping by the end of January.

So here we go.

Any advise from those who have concurred this?

Surprise

Earlier this week my dad was sick and I was calling to check on him and it sounded like he was driving and I said where are you going? He said I am in Mt. Home. It was about 6:00pm. What a GREAT surprise. He said why don't you and Scott go out tonight you have a free babysitter. WOW what a GREAT idea. So we did. We saw Invictus! What a Good movie. They had fun staying up a little later and playing. Shaydon sure loves his PAPA!! I had told Shaydon that papa was coming to our house and the next 30 minuets was when is papa coming? I thought papa was coming to my house? Remind me to never tell him until he is AT our house. That was a long 30 minutes.

sister OR brother?

Shaydon wore this shirt when we told dad that we were pregnant. We kept asking him if he wanted a little brother or sister? He would always say whatever you would say last. Well today we found out what we are having and we are excited!! Secretly I want a little girl (bows, lace, flowers etc.) and only had girl names picked out, but the search is on for boy names. On the way home as we were pulling out of the Dr. office Shaydon said out of the blue. "I want a little sister" It was so sweet! I stoped Scott at the light and told him and he didn't believe me, but it's true! I told him he will have a brother to play football with & he was excited!

Happy New Year

We traveled to Burely for the new year.

Scott's family was all in attendance.

We stayed at my dad's house.

Since it's our vacation we had multiple late nights even Shaydon.

Sorry to Wendy & Dave who got sick.

Saw the movie Blind Side.

Helped my dad clean his house.

Ate way too much.

Only one trip to Wal-mart.

Went to church with my dad and grandma.

Shaydon couldn't get enough of his cousins and playing.

Hate smokey the cat and the allergies/chapped lips/raw nose I get.

Came home with more food than we brought.

Stayed up until 2AM playing catch phrase.

Loved the snow.

Hated the wind.

Love sleeping in my parents warm bed.

Roxy got to play with Brody, Sadie, Chewy & Obi.

Shaydon slept the whole way home.
