to my hubby for putting decon in the basement window wells & setting some traps in the garage. We were watching TV and heard a mouse in the wall. I think we figured out that is came in through the garage where the Direct TV cord comes in which happens to be where we keep Roxy's dog food. Which her food does occasionally get spilled & not cleaned up. Not to mention there was one in the BBQ grill on the back patio.

Day one: Mouse stole the cheese off the trap

Day two: used peanut butter instead

Day three: Well see what happens?

Shaydon loves to watch, like his daddy

Scott played HS basketball and played for coach Harr who is the coach for Twinfalls now

It was a good game and everyone enjoyed free chocolate milk from the Idaho dairyman's association.

We went with Tyson Downs & his son Ledger.

On the way home Shaydon was upset because he wanted to watch another basketball game, we had watched the 5A game as well, that means we sat there for 4+ hours. Pretty good for a 2.5 year old.

Happy Valentines Day

My mom sent this to the kids to open on Valentines day, but we saved it and did it when Landon comes over on Wednesday. They had lots of fun opening them up. Who doesn't like bunny snacks and suckers!!! Shaydon says " can i have some of nana's bunny snacks" he really has a good memory and know who and what people give to him. He gets this from his dad. I have a hard time remembering what I did yesterday!!

Costco

We had some time to kill before going to meet some friends at the park and decided to stop at Costco. Shaydon had fun playing in the play house for about 20 minutes. He didn't want to go until I said we could get a smoothie!! A boy after my own heart.

~ he saw a pix of Jesus on the Internet as I was scrolling fast and recognized him. "Mom that was Jesus!"

~ i making peanut butter & jelly sandwiches for lunch and I always let him pick out a cookie cutter and cut his sandwich. He choose a ghost. He kept saying something and I couldn't understand him and then it hit me. About 3 weeks ago we had a lesson in nursery on the Holy Ghost and we had the kids repeat the name "Hoooly Ghooost". He just kept repeating it!

~when we get into the car and and the sun is shining he says: "turn off the light, too bright. i need my glasses."

~shaydon has been taking off his one peice PJ's at night, when i ask him why he says "because mom, too tight" I guess they are too small

What a GREAT weekend!!

Presidents Weekend

We went to Sandy, Utah to visit Scott's sister Wendy & her family. We always have such a fun time while we are there. Thank for being such GREAT hostesses. I guess it's officially a tradition because we have done it 3 years in a row over President's weekend. Scott went to Brighten ski resort on Saturday and said the snow was AWESOME. I was sick the 1st two trips down and now am pregnant maybe be next year!!

We stoped in Burley for a snack with "papa hunt"

Made it all the way to SLC till the movie was our last resort

we were stuck in traffic for an extra 30 minutes

I can't go to Utah with out stopping at my favorite place

Got a few new things to help organize the kids playroom

Had lunch for the 1st time in the food court area

Wendy came with me and was such a trooper for 3 hours

This week at story time it was all about Birthday's:

presents, decorations, balloons, cake, ice cream, candles.

All the books, games & songs had to deal with birthdays

One of his favorite things is getting a stamp on his hand at the end of storytime

this week you got a stamp of a candle for how old you are!!

He love to tell his dad about this when he gets home from work.

He had so much fun that the 30 minutes flew by

They do such a GREAT job there.

I have been wanted to let Shaydon bring his shopping cart to go grocery shopping for some time now and I finally remember and we did it. We were a little slow, but it was worth it.

He thought he was so cool.

We walked the whole store and he never got tired once.

He even helps put them away when we get home.

He didn't want to put much in his cart, I tried!!

He was choosy to what went in.

He had such a fun time!!

Most everyone was nice and told him what a GREAT helper he was.
