i am no photographer, but they are so cute okay handsome boys. thanks to nana for slater's shirt she found it at a yard sale and knew i would love it because it was hurley, but what she didn't know is that i had one already for shaydon and now they match. thanks mom for thinking of us!! we love your finds. shaydon can't take off his blue crocks.

sick slater

poor guy has a cold, coughing (not sure if it was from his nose drainage or a real cough), runny nose, sick eyes. i wanted to get him in to the dr. before the weekend and sure enough it was just a cold......shaydon had a cough last week and is all better. he says mom "slater got sick from me" probably i said. he was so sad!! well by wednesday slater was worse, he cried for 4 hours off and on. nothing seemed to work...so we took him back in and it turned into a ear infection. ughhh our 1st ear infection. hope not to go down that road again. on a side note he had been the most irregulare pooper i know. he goes in spurts of 12-15 days. in my book that is so not healthy. i thought when he was crying that it was because he was constipated. he was a little, but it was the ear infection. now i mix some stool softner in his bottles and it seems to be helping.

i wish i had taken a pix of how sick he looked it makes your heart so sad when there is nothing you can do, but cuddle and love them.

you would never know by his smile that he is having his 1st poop in 15 days... thanks to some baking soda in the kitchen sink. btw his 1st bath in the sink at our home.

Planet kid

has been our new hangout. we have been inviting all our friends to come and play with us here. 1st up was shaydon's favorite person LANDON. thanks to mollie for enjoying the morning with us. it's close to the house and helps burn some indoor energy since the weather is so cold. Slater doesn't quite love it yet. he wants to put all the ball in his mouth. uck......

of my experience with cancer. my aunt dawn was diagnosed with breast cancer and stared her 1st Round of chemo on the 17 of January. it was fun wig shopping with my aunt dawn today, thanks for letting me be apart of this experience. It brought back lots of memories of doing this with my mom. she is very beautiful and i love the one we picked out. Hope you do too. I love my new pink extension to join in the pink group!! i was feeling a little left out. We also enjoyed dinner at the cheesecake factory to help celebrate this journey of life she is adventuring into!! Shaydon help eat her cheesecake!

Shaydon had a snow day in December and his teacher did a make up day in February at a play house called Bounce. His class has a really good time. It was our first time and Shaydon loved it. We stayed for 2.5 hours and even ate lunch. Papa was in town so he joined us for the fun. Thanks miss Darci!!

what a crew

What a whirlwind of a week. She arrived on Tuesday afternoon and left by Sunday morning early. We spent two day's at doctor offices.(which we got the results and 4 years clear of cancer, woot woot) One day of shopping (Macy's, Dillard's and Ross). One day getting a pedi/mani (thanks Q-nails). There wasn't much time for relaxing. My boys kept them busy during any down time. In fact i think they were exhausted each night. So was I. We ate some good food (thai cuisine, willowcreek, tucanos and some home cooking). Had good company. We picked up Shaydon from preschool. Got nana a massage. Her trip to Boise are so fast, but we are glad to see her and Greg too. Thanks for making the road trip to COLD Idaho. mom your blood has thinned, but we still love you. Come to Idaho anytime we love and miss you!!! Thanks for all you do for us!!!

einstein's oilery

So we had a coupon for this place to get an oil change on the car. They say they are fast!! With two kids I was tired of waiting 1-1.5 hours at the dealership. So we gave it a try. We pulled up and they offered us a newspaper and drinks for both shaydon and I. You wait in the car while they work. Slater slept the whole time. There were about 5 guys working on the car and they have camera's all around so you can watch them. Shaydon quickly got out of his car seat and sat on my lap. I don't think we were there 20 minutes. It was a really good experience for a car place and being a women with two kids.

We make these menu board for our craftapalooza and I liked the idea, but didn't think I would really use it. Shaydon picked out my Valentines hot pink for this month.

Can I just say how much I LOVE it!!!

I only go shopping once a week and never have the dreaded question what are we going to eat tonight. So on Sunday night after dinner we all pick something that we want to eat for the next week and then i come up with the rest. Scott always picks Tuesday night because that is my night to work and he cooks. Not only has it saved time in the shopping and coming up with what to eat. I don't don't spend as much at the store either, I only get what i need for that week. I always made fun of those meal planners and now I am one of them.
