Age Activated Attention Deficit Disorder
I laughed and laughed when I read this email I thought I would share. enjoy... I have day's like this worth the read.
This is how it manifests:
I decide to water my garden. As I turn on the hose in the driveway, I look over at my car and decide it needs washing. As I start toward the garage, I notice mail on the porch table that I brought up from the mail box earlier. I decide to go through the mail before I wash the car. I lay my car keys on the table, put the junk mail in the garbage can under the table, and notice that the can is full. So, I decide to put the bills back on the table and take out the garbage first. But then I think, since I'm going to be near the mailbox when I take out the garbage anyway, I may as well pay the bills first. I take my check book off the table, and see that there is only one check left. My extra checks are in my desk in the study, so I go inside the house to my desk where I find the can of Coke I'd been drinking. I'm going to look for my checks, but first I need to push the Coke aside so that I don't accidentally knock it over. The Coke is getting warm, and I decide to put it in the refrigerator to keep it cold As I head toward the kitchen with the Coke, a vase of flowers on the counter catches my eye--they need water. I put the Coke on the counter and discover my reading glasses that I've been searching for all morning. I decide I better put them back on my desk, but first I'm going to water the flowers. I set the glasses back down on the counter, fill a container with water and suddenly spot the TV remote. Someone left it on the kitchen table. I realize that tonight when we go to watch TV , I'll be looking for the remote, but I won't remember that it's on the kitchen table, so I decide to put it back in the den where it belongs, but first I'll water the flowers. I pour some water in the flowers, but quite a bit of it spills on the floor. So, I set the remote back on the table, get some towels and wipe up the spill. Then, I head down the hall trying to remember what I was planning to do. At the end of the day: the car isn't washed the bills aren't paid there is a warm can of Coke sitting on the counter the flowers don't have enough water, there is still only 1 check in my check book, I can 't find the remote, I can't find my glasses, and I don't remember what I did with the car keys. Then, when I try to figure out why nothing got done today, I'm really baffled because I know I was busy all stinking day, and I'm really tired. I realize this is a serious problem, and I'll try to get some help for it, but first I'll check my e-mail.... Do me a favor. Forward this message to everyone you know, because I don't remember who in the world I've sent it to. Don't laugh --if this isn't you yet, your day is coming!!!!

Our Trip to California
I had some frequent flyer miles I needed to use so Shaydon and I decided to go visit my aunt's Connie & Jae and my uncle Michael who have not yet meet Shaydon. Thanks to them for putting us up, playing, driving us around, entertaining and hanging out with us. Neither of my aunts have kids so it was an adventure for them and us being our first plane ride and trip longer than a weekend. Thanks to Scott for picking us up and helping us with our luggage since it doubled while we were gone. We love and missed you, sweetheart. I am sure my aunts are exhausted after we left they are going to need a nap!!! Thanks again.....
Shaydon did so good on the plane ride out to LA, I feed him as we took off and he never hinted like his ears hurt. I had an extra seat next to me which really helped. I was not as fortunate on the way back to Idaho. Although the gentleman next to me was very nice and understanding he has 5 kids himself. I learned a few things about traveling with a baby. Good & bad.
We had lunch in Malibu along with some shopping, went to the Ventura Beach and walked around watched the surfers, visited our friends that we meet in the BSU married student ward 7 years ago, they live in Upland California. Went to my favorite two stores that we don't have in Idaho IKEA and Trader Joe's. More shopping, juiced fresh lemons off their tree and then made fresh lemon cheesecake. Had lunch with their friends, showed them how to check our blog, got pedicures and most importantly spend time visiting!!!

Feeding the Ducks...
March 6th 2008
Muffins and Croutons
It was such a nice day at the Park
Even though Trey is older than Shaydon they are such good friends!!!
(Rebecca was suppose to watch Shaydon while I got my hair done, but Justin wanted to surprise her with a afternoon at the spa so my cousin watched Shaydon. I wanted to give Rebecca her Birthday present so we meet her at their house and when we got there Trey wanted Shaydon to go to the park with him. So we did. I have to lie to Rebecca and tell her my appointment got canceled so she wouldn't feel bad and ruin the surprise. We were going to do some shopping anyway.)

Congratulations Scott....
(Here is a little story about this bouquet of cookies!! I have never been good at making sugar cookies, but I continue to think I can do it ~ so here it goes. I wanted to do something special for his new job opportunity and I thought it would be fun to have one of those cookie lady baskets delivered to his office. As I started to look at how much they cost I decided I could do it myself for cheaper since we are on a stricter budget with me not working full-time. It started at 1:00pm trip to wal-mart to get the pre-made sugar cookies and a few other items listed on the recipe from the food network. Well to make a looooong story short i finished as Scott got home from work at 5:30pm. Don't mind the 1st batch of cookie dough, it just ran all over the place, then the second that was burnt, but I used it. I soaked the popsicle stick with water before baking. Then I used Ziploc bags to do the writing. I am very proud of these hard as a rock cookies, but I will NEVER make sugar cookies again. Eat at your own risk.)

When I was a little girl.....

Its funny some people come up to me and say Shaydon looks just like you!! Others say he looks just like Scott! I wanted to see photos of Scott and I when we were little and see for our self. Scott’s parents couldn’t find his baby book which has all his photos and my parents gave me a huge tupperware of albums to go through. So here are a few that I pick out.

Girlfriends
Girlfriends are there, no matter how much time and how many miles are between you. A girlfriend is never farther away than needing her can reach. When you have to walk that lonesome valley and you have to walk it by yourself, your girlfriends will be on the valley's rim, cheering you on, praying for you, pulling for you, intervening on your behalf and waiting with open arms at the valley's end. Sometimes, they will even break the rules and walk beside you or come in and carry you out.
Thanks for being such a GREAT FRIEND I don't know what I would do with out you in my life, I love you!

CARROTS Shaydon's 1st Vegie!!!
I have been working with Shaydon on eating solid food, It's only been a few days. I decided to start with carrots. I asked Scott if he wanted to feed him tonight and so he thought he had his work cut out for him but he didn't know that Shadon likes his carrots. Scott didn't know when to stop feeding him because he wanted more!!!

Logan, Utah
Bailey Brown Blessing
Sunday 2, 2008 9:00am
This is the little gift we gave Bailey! It's a silky pink Bear blanket. Larry gave one to Shaydon because Nic loves his & thought Shaydon should have one too, so we thought Bailey should have a pink one.
We had a Fun weekend with Family. It started off by dropping off Roxy to my parents in Burley on Friday night and then leaving for Logan on Saturday morning. Shaydon is such a good traveler he just slept the whole way there. As soon as we checked into the Hotel we went swimming with all the cousins!! It was Shaydon's 1st time in a pool, he loves his baths so I knew he would love the pool. For Christmas Scott got me a pass to Roaring Springs and It is going to get used this summer. That afternoon we just hung out, snaked & took naps. That night we ate a the Blue Bird Restaurant with all the Gerratt and the Brown families there were about 35 of us. It was fun having everyone there. That night we did a little shopping at DownEast, Wal-mart and the SEI outlet. I could of spent hours more at the scrapbook store. I'll be back. Ben did a GREAT job blessing Bailey, it was a full circle. There is sure lots of love for her. After we went to Alisa's for a Brunch. We just visited and then everyone headed home. Look at the pix of our fun weekend.
